Moving-Average Trend Desk
For eight Tuesday evenings the room works on one skill: describing a trend with moving averages. You write the length in the margin, compute the line, and say what the slope and the lag are doing. The October desk runs from 6 October through 24 November 2026.

Who it is for
Adults who already follow a share or a currency pair and want a repeatable way to mark a moving average. English is the language of the lesson. No brokerage account is required, and none is opened here.
What you take home
You leave with a marked set of teaching sheets, a length sentence you wrote yourself, and enough practice to explain slope, lag, and a crossover as three separate facts.

Who teaches
Niran Chaisiri leads the desk. Malai Somsri teaches the exponential evenings and the ribbon.
How a place is confirmed
- Write through the contact form and name this desk. Staff reply within two working days.
- A seat is held when the 30 percent deposit reaches the academy’s Thai bank account.
- The balance is due before 6 October 2026. The seat card is written at 18:15 on the first evening.
- Phones go on the brass tray. The sheet for that evening is already on the table.

Before you come
Bring nothing but yourself on evening 1. A 2B pencil is on the table if you forget yours. If you keep a chart at home, bring one printed sheet only on evening 8. Sleep enough to add a short column of figures without rushing.
Limits of the room
Ten seats. Adults only. Arrival after 18:45 waits until the midpoint pause. The room is not recorded. Teaching sheets stay in the drawer until evening 8, then the marked set goes home with you. Lessons are in English.

The length on the margin
Before any line is drawn, you write what the average is allowed to ignore. A period counts completed closes on the sheet, not a hope about next week.

A simple average by hand
A short window is added and divided in pencil so the smoothing has a weight you can feel. Calculators stay in the bag for this evening.

Where the line sits
Above the closes, below them, or cut through them. Distance is described in the units printed on the sheet, then in a plain sentence.

Slope with a pencil
A fixed run along the time side, a rise on the price side. Rising, flat, and falling are decided from that small triangle.

Why the line arrives late
Malai marks a bend on a past year of closes and counts the sessions until the average’s slope flattens. That count is the lag.

Exponential weight
Recent closes pull harder. The same sheet is redrawn so you can see where the exponential line hugs a turn the simple line still rounds off.

The ribbon
Three lengths, then five. Spacing, compression, and a fan are named only when the gap matches the spacing card, not when the picture merely looks busy.

Explain one sheet
You talk a neighbour through one sheet without using the words buy or sell. Niran listens for the length, the slope, and the lag as separate remarks.
